The Smart City Concept : Everything is connected in real time

The main problem of most of the heavily urbanized cities are it is not well connected and information are not updated real time. That is the reason why no one knows where is a petrol station where petrol is available and number of consumers are low.

When an accident occur real time help is not available. 

A leak in pipe or a theft in electrical lines can not be detected and reported in real time.

The lack of real time communication delays the mitigation response which exaggerate the problems tolerated by a city people.

Group Method of Data Handling and Wave Energy

GMDH is an algorithm which can train and produce predicative models following the polynomial neural network(PNN) architecture. The advantage of the algorithm is that it can automatically select the number of inputs and the topology for which accurate results will be plausible,The algorithm utilizes a fitness function to identify the optimal configuration of the neural networks which can generate reliable results.

Problems in wave energy and its converters have never used GMDH techniques to solve or mitigate the uncertainty faced in such systems. Although some studies are there regarding location selection for wave energy systems, but there is still an ample scope to implement GMDH for finding solution to common or uncommon problems faced by the wave energy converters.

Passing the ball is the key !

The World Cup football 2006 is in the last stage .Experts , fans are busy discussing the probable champion . Is it Italy or France ?? This article is not about the probable champion, but it is about the key element that will make the champion .

Football is a game where 22 players fight for one nearly spherical object . They will have to possess this object and place in the nets known as goalpost . From the beginning of the recorded football in 1870 it was seen that the team which take maximum possession win the match .

Not only possession ,the team must know where to pass and when to pass . Correct pass can result in an easy goal . Remember the 25 pass goal by Argentina against Serbia & Montenegro ? Now if you ask that which is the most important pass ?? Is it the passing that take place in the midfield or the defender’s pass or the goalkeepers pass ? I will say that the pass that give a scorer the opportunity to score is the most vital one . If your team misses this type of ‘passer’ then it is hard for your team to win ?

Zidan of France know how to produce this type of pass , that’s why the maximum goal scored by France is from the pass of this great footballer . Ronaldinho of Brasil is meant to do this job . But he can not . Result Brasil end his campaign in the quarter final . France win by a fine set piece move by Zidan .Zidan passes the ball to Henry and Henry scores the winning and only goal of the match .

In the Germany and Argentina match Germany scores from a pass from Ballack to St’nger and St”nger to Klose .Argentina also scores like that .But absense or failure of this final passer in both the team take the match to Penalty Shoot out which is nothing but a lottery .

In Italy vs Germany match in the semis both goal come from some fine final passes . In France vs Portugal match ,France get the penalty from a great pass from Zidan to Henry . Where the defender can only trip him to prevent a goal. Where as Portugal lacks a genuine ‘Final Passer’ . Figo ,Deko,Manitch all of them were unable to produce such passes that will enable their striker to score .

In the final also this ‘Final Passer’ will be the key . In this case Zidan ,Riberi from France and Zambrota , Toti from Italy will have to become ‘Final Passer’ to win the Final .

If the both team were unable to produce such passes the World Cup 2006 champion will be decided by tie breakers .
